Intermediate Mining Engineer, McIntosh Engineering Incorporated
Provide technical mining support including stope and infrastructure design (with Vulcan 3D software), and reviewing and updating existing mine plans. Assist in the development of equipment specifications, costs, schedules, and feasibility-level reports.
STILLWATER MINING COMPANY, Nye, Montana (2004-2006)
Miner I
Assigned to a conventional narrow vein slusher cut and fill stope. Operated a jackleg drill and slusher to complete mining cycles. Additional responsibilities included work area inspections, blast design, explosives handling, and basic construction and general maintenance. Also workerd in mechanical overhand and underhand cut-and-fill stopes using various sized LHD and jumbo drill equipment.

Responsible for crew supervision upon the shifters absence. Tasks included pre-shift safety meetings, stope inspections, and basic computer skills.

* Diavik Diamond Mines Inc., Lac de Gras, Calgary, Alberta, Canada: Underground mine layout and design for the scoping/feasibility study.
* Ivanhoe Mines Mongolia Inc. XXK, Hugo Dummet Mine, Mongolia: Assisted in developing a scoping level mine design for an early mine using sublevel caving at production rates up to 20,000 tpd.
* P.T. Freeport Indonesia, Grasberg Deposit, Indonesia: Assisted in mine design and layouts for a 160,000-tpd block cave mine, including detailed construction access for large underground crusher installations.
