Other experience: I have 7 yrs. of construction experience (maintenance and mechanical).The plants include: Ethanol, corn, glass, food, Geothermal, concrete, paper mills, DE Inker, and many more. I cut all fabrications, drive forklifts, use overhead cranes and more. I am self motivated and a team player and work well with others.
My primary responsibility was to install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishment, using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools: dismantle and move machinery and equipment, using similar tools. Assemble and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, using hand tools and power tools. Construct foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel. I also aligned machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Assembled rigging to lift and move equipment and various machinery using cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, sheaves, shackles, chains, and other grappling devices such as slings and wire cables. I perform installation and maintenance work as part of team of skilled trade workers.
