I am seeking a contract or permanent Project Development or Field/Contract Administrator-type position in the energy industry. I offer a well-rounded background with over twenty-five years combined experience in both white and blue collar environments and management experience in both the private and local government sectors. I hold college degrees in business management and public administration. I have expertise in general operations, contract administration, budgeting, human resources and land use planning, among others. In addition, I have on-the-ground experience in public works, drilling and pipeline services. I am therefore very familiar with the work schedule, travel, environment, working conditions, etc. involved with these businesses. Also, I am adaptable, trainable and able to work effectively on an independent basis.

With the expanding role of government in the business world, I believe my combination of professional experience in both business and government is a significant asset that most other candidates cannot offer to you. I have years of experience working with the public, business owners, managers and government officials. I am able to serve as a liaison between business and government officials/politicians at the local, state and federal government levels. Not only can I help a company work with government/bureaucrats, but government officials are often inclined to be more amenable to a business that has staff who are seasoned in governmental relations and mechanics. I have a thorough understanding of business principles and practices while also being able to relate to and navigate governmental policies and processes.

In addition, there is a shortage of hard science professionals, such as engineers, in the energy industry today. Many of those people often have significant administrative duties in addition to their technical responsibilities, especially those working in the field. I believe I can be a valuable asset to a company that is interested in maximizing the technical expertise of their engineers and other specialists by reassigning their administrative duties to non-technical people who have my level of knowledge and experience in administrative matters.

I am seeking employment with a company that will value my combination of business and government experience, my white and blue collar background, my office and field experience, and my strong work ethic, all of which qualify me to contribute to a company's on-going success. I believe my experience, versatility and flexibility would make me a valuable asset as a field employee, where these traits are often needed to complete daily operations. Additionally, I have a strong rural background, which can be very beneficial during both the development and construction/production phases of various energy-related projects since they often occur in rural areas. I am willing to travel extensively and/or relocate as needed. I am also willing to work/live in remote and geographically challenging areas as needed, either domestically or overseas. I hold a current United States passport that expires in 2011.

I hope to discuss potential employment opportunities with you soon. If you are interested in contacting me, please do so at my email address shown under "Contact Information".

Thank you.
