Title: Geostatistical Modelling of polymetallic Nodules from parts of Central Indian Ocean Basin
Description: In this work, the nodule samples from CIOB have been examined in details for their size, surface texture and chemical composition. The study area was kriged for all the variables viz. elements present in the nodule, nodule abundance, and nodule size. A range of simulated images obtained employing sequential Gaussian simulation. An attempt is made here to provide possible genesis of manganese nodules of this area.

Title: Magnetic and Mineralogical Studies of some Granite Gneiss and Associated Intrusive Bodies in and around Dhanbad, Jharkhand
Description: In this work the rock samples were collected for magnetic study. Different magnetic data were generated using core samples with the help of Bartington Susceptibility Meter. Apart from it detailed petro-mineralogical studies under microscope and chemical analysis of rocks by AAS have been carried out.
