* Full daily and weekly reports have to be composed.
* Autonomous Haulage System procedures and safety guidelines had to be documented and implemented into the system to make a safe environment for the manual interaction with the machinery.
* Daily inspection, diagnosis and repairs of the system were also needed to keep the haulage system in an operational and safe.

* Reporting to the Used Equipment Manager I was responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all the trade in and hire equipment.
* Supervision of the Used Equipment workshop fitters so the repairs and maintenance are carried out within a budget giving reliability and safety.
* Development of a data base program and information links to log stock and hire machines so that the flow of information on hand regarding and Used Equipment was readily available and up to date.
* Machine appraisal and history gathering so it can be converted into a report form for a correct and full assessment of the machine for evaluation.
* Traveling to sites to carry out periodic inspection of an extensive hire fleet so it can be maintained and repaired for optimum availability that the customer requires to complete the contract or duties.
* Co-ordination and supervising the disassembly of purchased used equipment for the purpose of wrecking that could support and aging supply of equipment and make it cost effective.
* Wrecking of the machinery also helped in the building up of the Komatsu Used Parts Division that was another duty for me to arrange and market this.

* Keeping up to date with service bulletins and parts and service news, so any problems can be solved efficiently and properly the first time.
* Extensive traveling to site and talking to customers when on site I would carry out full inspection of the machine from tracks, tyres and GET then presenting a full report to the customer so maintenance and availability can be kept to a high standard.
* This role was a hands on job giving technical support through diagnosis and repairs of and Komatsu customer that needed assistance and training for their staff.
* Carrying out field campaign and machine modifications.
* Working with factory engineers collecting data and field studies to collect information so the machines can always be improved to supply a more efficient and reliable machine.
