MSc mining geology, Camborne School of Mines, graduating in Summer 2007. Currently looking for a research project for the coming summer

BSc Geology with honours. high 2:1 result. Extensive field experience in South Africa, France, Spain. Remote field experience in south africa working for university and industry funded research group (Stratigraphy Group, University of Liverpool).

OBJECTIVE:

Looking for a research project for the coming summer. Interested in Gold exploration and Ni-Cu-PGE exploration. Research project would be owned by company and Camborne School of mines. Looking for funding if possible. Any project ideas would be welcome though, as i am also interested in Resource Estimation.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
------------
Remote field experience in Tankwa basin, South Africa. Location is 100miles NE of Ceres. Involved extensive exploration and stratigraphic study of permian LOBE turbidites. Part of the Karoo basin exploration undertaken by the Stratigraphy Group, University of Liverpool.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Research Project is very flexible but will be undertaken between may and october 2007. 20,000 word write up with associated maps, etc. Project can be anything from greenfields exploration to resource estimation, but preferably with some exploration field work. I believe exploration field work (especially remote) is my strongest asset, and was proved during my stay in SA.
South Africa work explerience involved vast logisitical obsticles (i.e. weekly trips to fix 4x4's, get gas, food, medical care) and was very tough physical work (involved 6 days a week field work, 8am - 6pm). I have a passion for the outdoors and hard work, and am particularly looking forward to a career in exploration.
