PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Currently working with Rubaco SPRL, Mining Limited, whose core business is exploration into mining as a target generation geologist.

Projects handled include the evaluation of the following;

„« Concession near Sakania (Copper)

This is an area with potential for base-metal mineralization on behalf of Ruabco and CVRD (Brazilian company for a possible JV). Area has Muva and Roan stratigraphy. Methods used included geological mapping and structural mapping, analysis of geochemical data and remote sensing data (SRTM, USGS) and potential IP survey lines.

„« Two Concessions in Kapanga (Katanga, for Gold)

The Area has the potential for Gold placer deposits. Methodologies include Regolith/Geological mapping including with the catchment area, stream sediment sampling for all the major and tributary streams, which has led to the discovery of gold particles in one of the streams whose catchment was within the concession. The General geology of the area is the Granites and Charnokites and the mineralization is supposed to be within the Quartz veins.

„« Concessions in Kasai Occidental (Diamonds)

The area has the potential for Diamond placer deposits being hosted by alluvial sediments in the Kasai province of DRC. Methods used included Bulk sampling of the sediments. Area has potential for diamonds as evidenced by the industrial/gem diamonds recovered.

„« Concession near Likasi: (copper)

The area comprises of the Roan stratigraphy which was found to be mineralized in the Rat and Mines Group of Katanga Super Group. Methodologies included, Soil and outcrop sampling, structural and geological mapping, trenching and pitting, preparing cross-section.

Previous Experience

I worked as a Hydro-Geologist, on a groundwater project in WASMO (Water and Sanitation Management Organisation, Govt. of Gujarat, India) within area around Dharampur, Valsad (South Gujarat). The terrain is basically composed of Basalts and my job profile needs me to tap potential Groundwater resources for Tube well and Open well.

I have worked with a mineral exploration firm for seven months, dealing with various rock-types. I have worked in Rajasthan on a limestone terrain. The job required me to do onsite logging of the core, analyse them and help the senior Geologist of the client company to prepare detail logs of the cores and scrutinize them for sampling, and deciding the borehole depths. Also I have assisted the Senior geologists for establishing stratigraphic boundaries.

I have also worked on a lignite project in Bhavnagar for a month. I have also assisted my seniors in preparing Litho-Stratigraphic Maps from the data available during Lignite exploration.
