AMPLIFICATION:
While this C.V is self-explanatory, I would like to provide you with some additional job experience information, which I believe is relevant to this position.
I have held safety positions in various occupations. I was a safety representative for my ambulance station, am currently the crew safety representative for Mt Polley Mine, and I am also Safety Officer the Big Lake Fire Department. My duties have included policy & procedure review, accident/incident investigations, and providing recommendations to prevent further occurrences. During practices and emergency responses I am the incident safety officer.
From April 2002 to August 2004 I worked in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) teaching programs through the Justice Institute of B.C and other agencies. During this period I was directly involved with the Abu Dhabi Police, Ambulance and Rescue Section and held the rank of Captain. Through my experiences in the UAE I believe I have gained valuable general experience and management experience including the ability to function in a challenging, evolving environment.
I still hold a UAE drivers license from the previous time I spent in the country. I also have vary good skills in most Microsoft office programs including; Word, Excel and Power Point.
