* Completed a project to innovate the hydraulic/pneumatic systems of liner presses with great success. At the closure of the project, the manufacturing efficiency was more than doubled. The time needed to make one liner reduced from 40 to 18 seconds. As a result, the manufacturing capacity was doubled and labor costs of products significantly decreased.
* Pioneered the use of a new zinc alloy as charge case material. Characterized by low cost, high strength and debris-free after shot, the material is especially suitable for certain types of charges.
* Responsible for and provided engineering support for safety and manufacturing of daily operations of the shaped charge facility.

* Involved in the establishment of Canada's first shaped charge facility.
* Involved in the design and building of shaped charge (liner) manufacturing machinery (liner and load presses).
* Invented, prototyped and patented a safe detonator system for oil/gas well perforating (the work resulted in two patents (USP 6,211,682 B1, USP 6,470,803 B1) in the US and Canada.
