American Electric Power Service Corp, Columbus, OH – June, 2000 to Nov, 2002
Coal Trader – After AEP purchased Central and South West in June 2000, accepted transfer to Columbus and assumed coal procurement duties for six coal fired power plants and two mine mouth lignite operations in five states. Duties included coal procurement and contract negotiation, transportation coordination, and regulatory document preparation.

Senior Coal Representative/Coal Representative - Responsible for the procurement of coal and associated transportation for two coal fired power plants in the state of Texas. Duties include coal and rail services procurement, contract negotiation and administration, power plant fuel and inventory coordination and regulatory document preparation.

Manager of Engineering - March 1992 to January 1995
Bridger Coal Company, Rock Springs Wyoming – Responsible for the engineering and environmental compliance of a 7.0 million ton/year coal mine that feeds the adjacent 2100 MW Jim Bridger Power Plant. Duties included supervising a staff of over 20 engineers and technicians that planned, surveyed and monitored mine operations and environmental compliance as well as coordination of fuel supply and coal quality with power plant personnel.

PacifiCorp Electric Operations – Salt Lake City, UT – Responsible for long term planning and coordination of company owned mine mouth coal operations. Coordinated fuel supply activities with several mining operations and power plant locations.

Senior Mine Engineer/Mine Engineer - December, 1987 to January 1991
Centralia Mining Company – Centralia, WA – Responsible for dragline and truck/shovel mine planning and various engineering activities at this surface coal mine. Learned mine modeling software and implemented into short range planning activities.

Performed various engineering and supervisory duties at this new surface coal mine in northern Canada.
