- Management: Planning and management of two operations: Campbell (1,500 sdt/day gold-copper mill) and Copper Rand (1,400 sdt/day copper-gold mill). Management of the Campbell mill includes: the coordination of daily production and maintenance of equipment, cost control, supervision of personnel (26) and coordination of Health & Safety programs.

- Process Engineering and teamwork: The management of the Copper Rand mill involves: rehabilitation and major process modifications of the existing circuit (1.5M$), engineering and construction of a new paste fill plant (4M$), commissioning and start-up of the plant scheduled in Nov.2004.

- Training: Hiring of staff and hourly employees. Coordination of modular trainings and procedures on specific circuits: crushing, grinding, gravity, flotation, filtration and paste fill.

Sabbatical Year: (2002-june 2003)

- Sabbatical year with the family.

Mill Superintendent- Louvicourt Mine, Aur Resources Inc., Val-d'Or, Quebec, Canada (1996–2001)

- Management: Management of the overall milling operation including: production and maintenance of equipment, cost control (17M$/year), capital expenditures, budget preparation, environment, supervision of personnel (47 people) and coordination of safety and industrial hygiene programs.

- Process engineering and teamwork: Process optimisation and improvements of the existing flow sheet. Installation of new equipment. Supervision of construction work done by contractors and engineering consultants in the mill.

- Leadership and initiative: Implementation of self-directed team in the mill. Involvement in various evaluation and acquisition projects (Cambior, HBMS, and Duck Pond) in Canada. Replacement of the director during his absence.

- Communication: Chairman of the Safety and Health Committee (1998-99); chairman of the employer's negotiating team (1996-2001); Regional chairman of the Canadian Mineral Processing (CMP1998-2001).

- Training: Modular trainings for self-directed teams. Specific training to fit the needs of multidisciplinary skilled personnel (engineers, operators, mechanics, technicians, specialists and staff).

Mill Superintendent - Noranda Inc., Matagami, Quebec, Canada (1993–June 1996)

- Management: Planning and management of the overall operation including: daily production and equipment maintenance, cost control (11M$/year) and budget preparation, inventory control, supervision of 45 people including 30 hourly and 15 staff.

- Teamwork and process engineering: planning and coordination of various projects to optimize and upgrade the existing flotation circuits. Preparation of pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to assess Bell-Allard project. Design and construction of a primary crusher facility. Preliminary designs of the paste fill plant for Bell-Allard.

- Environment: Coordinated the waste management program (follow-up and monitoring of liquid effluents and solid wastes, sampling and dams' stability). Coordinated various environmental projects: the construction of a liming station, constructions of tailing dams' lifts and the follow-up of the mine closure plan (inactive and contaminated sites around the property).

- Negotiation: Active member of the employer's negotiating team during the collective agreement negotiation process.

- Leadership: Evaluated business opportunities (new clients) to treat other custom feeds for the mill. Frequent modifications of the circuit to fit specific customers' needs.
