                I was originally hired as a call centre interviewer to conduct market research surveys over the phone across the United States and Canada. As of December 2000, I was promoted to the position of Call Centre Supervisor and am responsible for the supervision of anywhere between 8 to 20 interviewers. My responsibilities include monitoring survey quotas, using database and network programs to keep a record of completed surveys as well as being partially responsible for quality standards of the work completed through monitoring interviewer calls and calling back respondents to validate completed surveys.

    Have worked in a variety of temporary positions which have involved loading and unloading trucks, loading and unloading skids, machine operation at a manufacturing plant, landscape construction for a golf course, inventory control, basic filing in an office environment and production line work at processing facilities.

May 1997 – Aug. 1997     KLBellamy & Associates, Brampton, Ontario
    Assisted the senior scientist in the collection of a variety of data in the field including groundwater depth and soil moisture. In addition to the data collection, I helped install shallow groundwater wells, gather soil samples and installation of long term measuring equipment to measure soil moisture.

    I worked in a metallurgy laboratory assisting research scientists in an experiment to extract metal from a chemical solution. My job involved preparing sulphuric acid solutions and the filtering of an organic mixture in preparation for use in the metallurgical experiment. Outside of this project, I had to prepare ore samples for analysis. This involved the operation of rock crushers to break down the rock samples to a sandy texture.

    I had enlisted in the Army reserves and was assigned to the 23 Service Battalion in Hamilton, Ontario. From Oct 1994 to June 1995 I participated in basic military training which including military first aid, compass and map use, weapons training, physical training, discipline and team work.

May 1995 - Aug. 1995     ORTECH Corporation, Mississauga, Ontario
    I assisted in the planting of large numbers of trees for a major reforestation project for a senior scientist as well as with the relevant data and sample collection for the project. I also assisted in a pulp and paper recovery experiment designed to recover waste pulp for use in the production of paper and paper products.
