Details of work experience

OAO Sidanco – OAO Sidanco is one of Russia's top ten oil and gas producers. The holding includes five exploration and production companies, one refinery and two oil product retailers.

I was in charge of setting up and managing the Department of Management Information Reporting. This department employs six people, responsible for a wide array of reporting, from monthly management reports to quarterly/annual US GAAP financial statement preparation.

We implemented quarterly US GAAP reporting of consolidated results of the Group, monthly management reports for the Group, budgetary control process for the company's head office.

The department also worked closely with statutory accounting offices of the group companies to help them speed up the process of monthly closures.

Is the largest professional accounting firm in the world. I have been working in the audit department from 1994 to 2002 (last two years as a manager), my main clients included:

1) RAO UES Rossii – in 2001-2002, acted as audit manager for several Energos' IAS audit. The companies I was involved in were: Sverdlovskenergo, Khabarovskenergo, Volgogradenergo. Obtained a detailed understanding of the energo companies issues and impact thereof on IAS financial statements for RAO UES Group. Advised consolidation team of corporate governance issues associated with re-organization of individual energos.

2) ALROSA – the monopoly diamond producer in the Russian Federation. I was managing the audit and advised on preparation of this company's the International Accounting Standards (IAS) financial statements. The work also involved communicating with various financial advisors to interpret and present the financial results of the company to the investment community in the view of the Eurobond issue efforts.

3) Omolon Gold Mining Company – a subsidiary of Kinross Gold Inc operating in Russia and second largest gold producer in Russia. I was in charge of US GAAP and Russian Statutory financial statement audit. I worked with this company from 1995 to 2002, and had been part of the consulting effort to build a financial reporting function that is operating to the international standard. I obtained a detailed understanding of the production processes involved in mine site construction, operations and controls surrounding these processes through work with this company. I also obtained a detailed understanding of taxation issues surrounding the mining industry in Russia, such as VAT recovery, tax optimization etc.

4) Buryatzoloto – a subsidiary of High River Gold and one of the largest underground mining operations in Russia. I was in charge of IAS and Russian Statutory financial statement audit. I worked with this company from 1998 to 2002. I helped this company transfer its financial reporting from IAS to Canadian GAAP in 2002, when High River bought a majority stake in this entity. We assisted the company in establishing its own international reporting function and training the personnel involved in the preparation of international financial statements. I obtained a detailed understanding of the accounting issues associated with the underground gold mining operations and IAS/Canadian GAAP financial statement issues associated with complex share capital structure through work with this client

5) Omsukchansk Mining and Gelological Company – a subsidiary of Bema Gold. I was in charge of the audit of this company's Canadian GAAP financial statements in 2001-2002.

6) Due diligence reviews – I was involved in a number of pre-acquisition due diligence reviews with the companies in the different industries, e.g. silver mining (Pan American Silver), forestry, gold mining.

7) Internal audit/contractor audit – I was involved in a number of assignments with one of the world's largest oil companies operating in Russia to review the compliance with the contract terms and review contractor's cost calculations. This work resulted in significant cost savings for the client.

8) OAO Dalmoreproduct – the largest fishing and fish-processing conglomerate in the Russian Far East. I was involved in the preparation and audit of the IAS financial statements for the group, and in the audit of the company's Russian statutory accounts.

9) OAO Svyazinvest entities – I was involved in the IAS financial statement preparation and audit of the following local telecom operators that are part of Svyaznivest Group: Electrosvyaz Primoria, Bashinformsvyaz, Electrovsyaz of Khabarovsk region during 1997-1998.
