Responsible for planning and scheduling all security force activities, delegating the duties and responsibilities of Security Officers and Supervisors during the shift.
Ensuring full compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations, plant procedures and Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Provide support, direction and discipline for the security force as needed.
Charged with initiating emergency notifications and establishing site evacuation and personnel accountability procedures.
Interfacing with the client, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Responsible for the deployment of the security force and all command and control activities as well as coordinating the security response with Plant Operations during security contingency events and US NRC Force on Force evaluated exercise. (April 2005)
Participated in developing enhanced defensive strategies based upon current US NRC Design Basis Threat.

- Security Specialist - April 2002 to July 2003
Responsible for performing equipment, personnel, post and vehicle checks to ensure high standards are maintained.
Monitoring and Assessing Electronic Security Systems and Alarms through CCTV and Mobile camera coverage, then dispatching Response Team Officers as needed.
Functional testing of all security systems, perimeter intrusion detection devices, alarm points, and access control equipment.
Field Supervisor and Immediate Response Team Leader.
Participated in the development and implementation of improved security measures and strategies to meet post September 11th US NRC Interim Compensatory Measures.

- Armed Nuclear Response Officer - June 2001 to April 2002
Conduct vital area and perimeter patrols, observe, report and initiate compensatory measures upon discovery of discrepancies.
Respond to alarms on vital doors, gates and perimeter zones as directed.
Operate Access Control equipment including: x-ray equipment, portal explosive detectors, both handheld and walk through metal detectors.
Perform vehicle, equipment and material searches for prohibited substances, i.e. firearms, explosives, incendiary devices, drugs, alcohol, etc.

Perform security crosschecks and processing of Naturalization and Immigration dossiers as well as processing international travel authorizations for the entire Foreign Legion (approximately 8000 men).
