Research Project Engineer: Supervised by Dr. Rajesh Khanna, Dept. of Chemical Engg, IIT Delhi. My work was to understand, experiment and simulate the Ripening Dynamics of Thin Film Micro Droplets. The ripening procedure involved the transformation of an initially disturbed thin film to multi-droplets and finally to a single droplet. The simulation was done using Fortran, and the project lasted for 1.5 years including one engineering academic year. Applicable to industrial mass transfer equipments.

Chemical Engineering Trainee: The plant dealt with the manufacture of sulphonated products (surfactants), using LAB and DDB, for Detergent and Cosmetic Industries. My training topics involved: Working and Operation of Sulphonation Plant, Test methods (lab) and Product Quality Analysis. The lab work included performing Acid Value, Klett Value and Free H2SO4 analyses. I also underwent training in ISO 9002 awareness and Fire & Safety.
* Project on study of Activated Sludge Process. Supervised by Dr.B.K.Guha, Dept of Chemical Engg, IIT Delhi. This Project involved the modeling of a system, which involved the removal and disposal of waste from a Chemical Process using a combination of Multiple Effect Heat exchanger and Activated Sludge Process.
* Project on study of Thermal Power Plants- Coal Conversion. Supervised by Dr.L.M. Das, Dept. of Energy Sciences, IIT Delhi.The Project was concerned with the study of a thermal power plant involving the combustion of coal for production of steam and the retrieval of coal ash for cement manufacturing.
