July 2002 to May 2003: Vice President and General Manager, Gabriel Resources Limited. Country Manager for its Romanian projects including the Rosia Montana Gold Mine.

October 1999 to July 2002: Senior Project Manager, Phelps Dodge Mining Corporation, Phoenix, Arizona. Variety of projects: mine feasibilities, expansions, project development construction and commissioning.

January 1995 to October 1999: Vice President and General Manager of Cyprus Tohono and Cyprus Sierrita, open pit copper and molybdenum operations. Later as Director, Project Development based in Tempe working on projects in South America, Zambia and Russia. Cyprus was acquired by Phelps Dodge on October 1999.

December 1976 to December 1994: Held various positions of increasing responsibility with Gold Fields Mining Corporation including Mine Superintendent at the Darius underground gold mine in Quebec Canada, Chief Engineer at the Shafter underground silver mine in Texas, Chief Engineer at the Mesquite open-pit gold mine in California, Mine Manager at the Chimney Creek open-pit gold mine in Nevada, and General Manager of the Mesquite gold mine in Imperial County California. Responsible for project development, underground development and construction and construction and commissioning of the Darius, Shafter, Mesquite and Chimney Creek mines. (Gold Fields Mining Corporation was acquired by Hanson Industries in August 1989 and later by Santa Fe Gold Corporation in 1992. Santa Fe Gold was subsequently acquired by Newmont Mining Corporation).

April 1975 to December 1976: Mining Engineer at Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Company underground base metal underground mining operations in Manitoba, Canada

August 1973 to February 1975: Mining Engineer, Consolidated Gold Fields Limited.
