Responsible for the Purchasing, Transportation and Warehousing functions relating to the decommissioning and site remediation of the Polaris Mines, northern most mine in Canada’s high Arctic. Duties include, development of site material management procedures, process improvement, negotiation of standard purchase contracts as well as service contracts, vendor sourcing, logistics planning for air freight and annual sealift replenishment as well as retrograde (south bound) sea shipping of equipment and hazardous goods for disposal.
