Production Manager - Managed shop fabrication operations and administration for an engineering/construction organization. The facility made process units, primarily for the mining and environmental remediation industry. Created tracking structure for gauging productivity and planning for improvement. This included establishing cost and activity codes, more detailed tracking of overhead activity, improving budget-vs.-actual cost accounting and accelerating the delivery of project status updates. Participated in logistics coordination for a mine construction project at a remote Alaska site. Developed plant operations and capital budgets ($2.3M/yr.), and operated at or below target costs.
