WORK EXPERIENCE
Offering 30 years of experience in quarry production and reclamation works.

HANSONS QUARRY - Assistant Manager internally trained to level 5 10/81 to 06/90.
Attended morning meetings to discuss projects and assignments, plan strategies and suggest improvements where needed. Worked closely with help desk team, providing hands on support to ensure smooth running.
Documented any faults and monitored recurring problems.
Interfaced with technicians and employees to identify problems and formulate solutions. Duties performed: Ensuring all dry and wet screening plants and batching plants were running to full production, placement of all crushing plants for maximum production, making sure calibration of scales and service schedules were adhered to. Auditing production reports and ensuring all personnel and mobile plant were present. Stockpile planning and control.

JCB England - Project / Production Manager 06/90 to 07/96.
Duties included: Ensuring all static and mobile plant were maintained and transported in the correct and professional manner, all repairs were carried out on time and to the correct specifications. Making sure all warranty claims were processed to the customer's satisfaction.
Supervision of all staff. Attend quarry locations to offer and instruct on operation and maintenance of plant for maximum production.

STEELFIELDS UK - Construction Manager 07/96 to 07/98
Duties performed: Attended factory batching plant production line to ensure all batching plants were being built to customer's specification, travel to site location and liaise with customer on construction and placement of batching plant. Co-ordinate erection, calibration and running of all plant for maximum production. Preparation of all maintenance schedules.

EXTEC - International Project Manager - 07/98 to 09/2005.
Duties included: Worldwide travel to various locations installing crushing and screening plants ensuring correct specification for maximum production, trouble shooting all mechanical and electrical faults. Re-designing and modifying of unresolved problem areas on plant. Liaise with client with his own specifications and input ideas for maximum production.

QDC - The Pearl of Qatar - Quarry /Production Manager– 09/05 to present
Duties included: Running a busy aggregate site to a very tight schedule - 6 crushers - 2 screens and 2 fixed rotary trommels. Managing 4
Superintendents 11 foremen and between 80 to 100 employees of mixed nationality on dayshift and nightshift, along with 100+ pieces of construction plant. Running of six sites on the island. Locating suitable materials for processing placing mobile crushers and plant in position. Producing various grades of limestone and cap rock. Organising transport and loading of materials to quarry location and processing of all materials, keeping accurate records of all loads taken from site. Breaking out of seabed, Backfilling, Mixing of fill materials, levelling and compacting, construction of breakwaters, breaking out channels and installing pumps for diversion of water, Writing new production programmes in excel and keeping accurate production reports, stockpile planning and control, ordering of all consumables and spare parts, supervision of mechanical repairs and preparation of service schedules. Reporting directly to the project director.
