- Instrumental in incorporating the parameter 'Orientation of the discontinuity with respect to the induced stress direction' in the geomechanics classification system. Endorsed by Nick Barton of 'Q' system.
- Initiated modifications in support systems, resulting in savings of Rs. 50 lacs at Sindersar Khurd Decline.
- Conceptualized and designed the support systems for the Zawar group of Mines, Sindesar Khurd Decline development and Rajpura Dariba Mines.
- Managed the back filling operations using classified mill tailings at the Rajpura Dariba mine and actively involved in water balance calculations during back fill operations at Rajpura-Dariba Mines.
- Designed the Geotechnical Instrumentation for accurate data acquisition.
- Enhancing the quality of the data required for the Numerical Modelling - The data acquisition have been useful in determining the input parameters for the Flac 3d and the models have been calibrated to the ground conditions, a big achievement.
- Identifying Pillars for extraction without jeopardising the global stability.
