Exploration Responsibilities: originate, identify, plan and design exploration programs for Kaolin and Calcium Carbonate in the southeast US, West Texas, Illinois, Jamaica and Australia; prepare capital investment projects for land and mineral acquisitions; present economic assessment; direct exploration activities and personnel, instrumental in the development and enhancement of the exploration and mining departments computer capabilities for mineral evaluation, mine planning and production scheduling

Mine Operations: direct operations for the production of Kaolin and Calcium Carbonate in both open pit and underground mine operations; prepare production schedules and mining budgets; coordinate the development and preparation of mining and reclamation plans; prepare applications for State Mining Permits and secured their approval; coordinate government inspections, insuring that mining operations are in compliance with State approved mining and reclamation plans; perform annual audit of mining and reclamation progress and reported annual lands status summary, initiated Ground penetrating Radar technology to survey and map roof conditions in our underground mines and directed remedial action to insure maximum safety, completed Six Sigma projects that initiated $2 Million in savings.
