My responsibilities included creating and revising structural steel design drawings of a replacement air cap on the No. 5 tissue paper machine for Georgia-Pacific in Palatka, Florida. I edited 2D design drawings using AutoCAD 2005. I was also responsible for checking shop drawings and returning them to the detailer, communicating running design changes with the other discipline leads and the field during construction and maintaining document control. I was the CAD lead for this project as well as the lead structural designer.

My responsibilities included creating and revising reinforced concrete and structural steel design drawings. I edited the 3D models using Frameworks Plus while the detail design 2D drawings using AutoCAD 2004 and Microstation J. My responsibilities as a member of the Idaho Spent Fuel project located at INEEL in Idaho Falls, Idaho included preparing reinforced structural concrete design drawings, maintain integrity of CAD files and insure adherence to established CAD standards by CAD team, coordinate design interface (at CAD level) with other disciplines to insure accuracy and provide input to engineers with regards to schedule and detailing. As a member of the Second Line of Defense project team, my additional responsibilities included acting as CAD lead on an as-needed basis, act as the design lead for smaller teams of designers and drafters and provide support and guidance for off-site design teams and subcontractors while they were on-site for the initial site evaluations and documentation phase. Assist I.T. staff in set-up and maintenance of desktop and laptop PC's including upgrading and troubleshooting.

As the structural department CAD lead for the Pre-treatment building team, some of my daily tasks included maintaining the integrity of all dept. CAD files; insuring standards were adhered to by dept. members and provide coordination of design with other disciplines. I performed material take-off estimates, developed and checked design standards and produced structural concrete 2D drawings and 3D renderings utilizing MicroStation SE and Frameworks Plus for proposed nuclear waste vitrification project at the DOE / Hanford reservation.

My responsibilities included preparing and revising design drawings as a member of the Multi-Function Waste Tank Farm project team (DOE #W236A). Design elements consist of reinforced concrete structures, structural stainless steel detailing, and underground utilities. Paper space and external reference (Xref) features were used extensively.

My responsibilities included researching project history, maintaining files of all pertinent information, producing designs of grading/drainage plans including hydraulic calculations, an earthwork balance, research and design vertical and horizontal control for underground utilities and submit for approval to each agency. General office tasks as required including drawing and document control, field inspection of construction and QA/QC of drawings. Tasks were accomplished utilizing HASP Release 4.0 engineering and architectural software, AutoCAD HydroCad Release 3.2 and Civil Tools software.

As a contract drafter responsible for compiling, collating, comparing and all under/aboveground utility plans within the 100 B/C Reactor Area at the Hanford reservation as part of the decommissioning and large-scale reclamation plan. Prepared all drawings, figures, estimating sheets and tables using AutoCAD, digitizer, pen plotter and LaserJet plotter.

As part of a bidding task force I was responsible for identifying all concrete embed items and anchor bolts and creating an organized spread sheet that would allow an accurate accounting and provide fabricators with a basis to estimate the cost of manufacturing the items. This was a very fast track bid and required a very high degree of accuracy as the bidding for this project was very close.
