* Maintaining the overall safety during blasting procedures like charging the shot holes with explosives and taking shelter and issuing warning's curing blasting.
* Slope inspection for maintaining the slope stability which occurs as a result of either in stress or a decrease in strength. Prevention and control of slope failure.
* To supervise the removal of overburden by Heavy Earth Moving Machinery.
* Maintaining and checking the safety equipments periodically and liaising with the management to ensure it is up to the standard set by Director General of Mines Safety.
