Manager of Maintenance
As Manager of Maintenance, I am responsible for the specification and implementation of a corporation wide Preventive-Predictive-CMMS program for equipment in an intensive, on line manufacturing process. AIMCOR is a materials handling company, and as such, many off the shelf systems are not applicable to a type of operation which includes equipment such as rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, rollers, feeder-breakers, crushers, large overhead cranes, ship loaders, rolling stock and both pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and controls. Specialized knowledge is required of equipment and how TPM, CMMS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and other systems can all be combined into one world class maintenance and reliability system.
Site Project Manager
Complete site responsibility for the installation of a multi million dollar materials handling system for Valero Refinery Delayed Coker unit. System consisted of overhead cranes, hoppers, crushers, magnets, conveyors and a Shiploader. Responsibility included drawing review and approval, contractor selection, construction management, change approval and final testing and acceptance. After completion of the project, I was promoted to Manager of Maintenance.
