At present, I am responsible for whole commercial function of Konkola Deep Mining Project, worth of USD 750 million which is at present the single largest mining project in the world for ore production of 6 million TPA at Chililabombwe, Zambia, Africa.

Job profile in brief includes the following responsibilities:

„« Responsible for managing full life cycle of project commercial activity to achieve project implementation at cost and time better than the international benchmarks.
„« Responsible for scoping of work, selection of equipment and technology, global sourcing, Techno-commercial evaluation of turnkey quotes, International contracting for mines including Technology Contracts for Smelter, project negotiation, logistics, statutory requirement etc.
„« Key area of involvement has been in the overseeing, preparation and implementation of project milestones linked with time schedule & payment.
„« Responsible for preparation of project estimates, budget control, reconciliation and reporting project progress to the top management.

Procurement for all six units for commodities like Casting & Machining items, Refractory, Graphite, Gear Boxes, Pumps, DG set Spares, Fuses & Switchgears, Electric Motors & its Spares etc for a total spend base of USD 10 million.
