Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage consolidation of incoming cargoes into Singapore including heavy equipment and other project shipment in either fully assembled, semi dismantled, or fully dismantled. Transship them to job site, and discharge upon arrival. Normally there are two shipments per months and four shipments per month during expansion to accommodate construction and rapid mobilization of heavy equipment. Each shipment carry about 1,000 up to 1,500 revenue tons.
* Manage discharging of fuel barge and pumping into main storages. There are 12 shipments per month and each shipment carries 3 millions liters.
* Manage fuel distribution from fuel farms to fuel stations in the various mine sites using both pipe line and road tankers. The operation runs 24 hours a day.
* Manage discharge of ammonium nitrate fromthe ship. There are 2-3 shipments per month contained in jumbo bulka bags, each shipment carry about 4,100 tons. The operation started with daylight only and then it is extended to 24 hours a day operation to minimized berth congestion.
* Managing chartered aircraft flying about 70 round trips to transport more than 2,000 passengers a month.
* Manage warehousing, inventory with value around USD 15M, and on site distribution. The warehouse and distribution runs 24 hours a day.
* Manage fleet of 30 buses to transport all employees and students of company school. In total, there are 3,000 employees and 1,200 students to be transported from various residential areas to various work areas and school vise versa in a day. The operation runs 24 hours a day.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Direct and maintain full accountability for operational performance and personnel responsibilities.
* Progressively manage a group of 15 skilled staffs dealing with around 2,000 line items amounting more than USD 40K a month.
* Ensure request for quotation, bidding selection and other tender processes were in accordance to the company policy and procedure
* Verify and approve Purchase Orders.
* Administer tenders and contracts
* Facilitate regular improvement meeting between major contractors and custodian
* Resolve late deliveries, incorrect supplies, and customer complaints

Senior Mining Engineer (1995 -1997), Mine Planning Engineer (1994 – 1995), Drilling and Blasting Engineer (1993 – 1994), Geotechnical Engineer (1992) at a large coal mining company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Design monthly, quarterly, and annual mining sequence.
* Pickup weekly actual mine front face. Develop daily mining sequence on weekly basis. Calculate and ensure plan for coal expose and mining match with the crushing plan and marketing. Supervise production progress to ensure in accordance with daily and weekly sequence mining plan.
* Design drill plan and prepare drill pattern in the field including site preparation and marking points for blast holes. Supervise drilling progress, measure the actual hole depth to ensure close to the plan. Distinguish between wet and dry hole to allocate proper explosive mix. Design blast pattern and ensure drill pattern in the field is in accordance to blast pattern. Supervise loading of explosive into blast holes to ensure proper explosive mix, correct manner to avoid water trap, and proper stemming. Supervise tie in to ensure in accordance with blast pattern. Organize road blockers to secure blasting area. Ensure the fire is always on schedule and production interruption is minimized. Evaluate the result and record the actual perimeter and elevation blasted area into a master record
* Compile mine production statistics and generate daily, weekly, and monthly report.
