Mapping and positioning the mining of major haulages, Konkola deep declines and inclines in the correct formation.
Generating, updating and implementing of long and short-term plans for exploration and evaluation diamond drilling.

Surface and Underground exploration drilling and logging for Konkola deep mining.
Monthly Evaluation of reserves for Production.
Daily monitoring of grade control samplers and production performance.
Monthly importation of boreholes and updating of geological surfaces into GEMS 5.5.

Responsible for all geological and grade control functions under room and pillar mining method and "SLC."
Monitor the closure of the Mine towards the end of its life and come up with ways of extending its life.

This publication was written following a detailed underground geological and mineralogical mapping at Mufulira Mine. This publication provides useful mineralogical and geological relationships, which could be used in exploration.
