Assistant Electrical Superintendent
Responsible for the Electrical availability of approximately 20 miles of Conveyor Systems, nine (9) Sizers, and Eighteen (18) Apron Feeders. Insured parts availability, and established Preventative maintenance procedures on all equipment under my responsibility. Department consists of forty (40) Colombian Technicians, ten (10) Colombian Supervisors, and two (2) Expat. Supervisors. Streamlined the organization to increase availability. Responsible, for all Variable Frequency Drives, PLC's, Panelview Programs, and all Electronic programming. In addition, established small parts and tool room controls resulting in savings.

Systems and Procedures:
1. Implemented "Rushton" Work Order System.
2. Started PM program on all Conveyors, Seizers, and Apron Feeders.
3. Started a program of "Work Order Requests" that other departments can use to request Electrical repairs. Booklets were distributed to other departments.
4. Improved communications between Electrical Groups with a method of shift reporting and meetings. The shift reports are being entered electronically to enable us to "filter & search", to identify our most reoccurring electrical problem areas.
5. Implemented a procedure of tracking "enables & disables" to insure repairs are made in a timely manner.
