Presently I am living in Frankfurt Germany I have been here for 8 years. My knowledge of Finance is high as I have been a business Analayst for the last 10 years, although I have been in finance for some 20 years. I have as you can see worked for the most illustrious banks in London and in Germany; I also speak German and in-depth knowledge of German management.
As one can see quite evidently, I have worked for the best financial institutions in London over a sizable period of time. The experience that I have gained from such illustrious names is immense, most as been in the very intense environment of trading FX; Credit Derivates and Fixed income. Liaison driven fields between both national and international clients.
The roles I have played are extremely diverse as well, I worked my way thought the back office in the early 80s and then pursued my goals for the front office which is were I found myself in IT.
My experience in IT is as a business analyst, working in some of the most hectic and pressurised environments one could imagine. I feel at ease working under my own intuition, which usually produces striking results, this can only be done with a sound knowledge of the business, a sense of humour and a love of business.

Personal Profile.
I suppose I would say that there is no doubt that I am extremely creative, I think this is a bonus in today's ever-changing work place. I am creative in almost ever aspect of my life whether that be in Investment banking, IT, international news and advents (to which I write my own column on a regular basis) or in my private life (Painting and prompting my works world wide).
I am also a direct man both in speech and personality, I feel my time is valuable and that of my clients too so it is of the essence that I come to the point quickly, and in a diplomatic manner as well.
I have always taken my job beyond the responsibilities that is expected from me, one could argue the point that this is not needed but from a personal point of view the work place would be an extremely boring place if we did only what we were ask for. I think one should bring new ideas, where needed, and try and improve ones work place whether it be big or small.
I have always communicated with all levels of responsibility whether it is the Vorstand (Directors) or on a lower level, it is important here to keep communication clear, straight and to the point as to not invite in any misconceptions.

I do pursues a very funny, witty, frank sense of humour I think one must, the work place can be a strenuous place and especially in Investment banking so humour does help to relive the stress.
I am a leader, I do invite the words '' try, lets have a go,'' to my dinner table on a regular basis

I am an avid reader of world events and news, I love it, and I suppose it is a passion along with my painting too. I feel I cannot live my life and not really know what going on outside my door. Here too I am a great lover of Physics, Physical is misinterpreted, it's not hard, it's all about observation and I feel that was good business is about observation and delivery, nothing more nothing less.

Well researched and ''rounded'' client support is easy in terms of understanding what your client wants, what ever other services a company can supply to a company come secondary, its important to supply the basics and then build.
I have immense experience in Design and marketing and it is clear that digital marketing is taking a large pace forward at a formidably acceleration as people want ''information at hand'' fast where ever they may be at any given time. So to this, I would say its important for me to see my future position not just as a title but as a person that gives titles to opportunities and really must look at a far wider perspective of our given position if we are to stay worthy to the company. Really in a nutshell use very given talent, expertise one has to go forward, and to survive.

2005-Present

Since leaving Dresdner (which was a mutual agreement) I have focused my energy and talent on Business, my Painting, designing, both fashion and jewellery.
The Arts, painting has been a big part of my life and creativity too, as I mentioned earlier I am creative in Banking, business or Art.

I have been busy promoting and marketing my works on the European scene, the UK and in The US, to which I have been successful in landing an exhibition in Indianapolis this year. The marketing can be hard as one is up against and extremely high amount of competition what wins over competition is the quality of one s works and I feel my works are of a high degree and worthy of the world stage.
I have also been busy designing men's coats and waist jackets along with jewellery.

Above all I have encompassed all of my passions and talents whether that be Business, Painting, Designing, Marketing and produced results in placing my works on the world market, to which I loved every minute.

Environment overview.
FX TRADING, CREDIT DERIVATEIS AND FIXED INCOME trading floor.
Supporting the stars trading system and risk management system. Stars is a derivatives trading system handling predominantly Swaps Futures and options. Liaison is with clients from London, New York, Singapore and Tokyo. Request on support are with the running and the advice in terms of training for the traders and salespeople.

Position Support of the Bloomberg system.

The support on the Bloomberg system would involve all physical set up in the system and the telephone inquiries relating to the system. The main areas of support were to the Front office that would be the traders and salespeople. I would also cover any support for Tokyo and New York.

* User Support---
* Develops a solid understanding of BO administrative data/business processes
* Helps end users modify existing reports or build new ones

Position, Systems and Database development within Fixed Income

Systems development within the company system of ISIS (International Securities information System) ran from AS400. Problems within their database on fixed income products, especially FRNs had existed for several months putting server pressure on their accounting system CIS and on the AIR Accrued interest reconciliation system.

Overview of responsibilities.
* Updating of asset standing data, i.e. coupon values of floating rate notes, Treasury notes and straight bonds.
* Some problems arose while updating the above due to CUPID feed from ISMA into the company system.
* The main responsibility was to check the information coming from CUPID; this was done by a series of small but productive projects. Once the results of the project had been analysed it was then my responsibly to produce an alternative system which would feed their database with a far more effective information service.

The main areas of concern were.
* Coupon value, event dates, general standing data on the products.
* The matching program, common critical fields and translation of the information between ISIS and CUPID.
* Cross correlation of information form CUPID with Bloomberg and Euro Clear.
* Creating reports on the status of the projects and the progress of checking the system error codes and analysing their reasons.
* Investigating new areas of the database and the way it was presented to the user so that the information given could be better utilised.
* Contacting information suppliers such as Bloomberg and Reuters to evaluate their services and make recommendations on future purchase.
* I interviews different departments users of the ISIS system to ascertain areas of problems for the user. I then presented analysed reports to my superior and to system programmers so that solutions could be made to the system.

Implementation and Testing
* Implementation, running and testing of Open Bloomberg System with ISIS database.
* Writing of query reports for the system to locate any faults and suggest functional enhancements.
* User Acceptance testing UAT and subsequent reports creation on system faults.
* Testing Open Bloomberg's Y2000 compliance and compliance testing between Bloomberg and ISIS.

Position Eurobond Systems, Gloss Set up and testing

Bankers Trust Gloss project had undertaken a survey of all counter parties to determine their standard settlement instructions, 800 counterparts had to be contacted worldwide for their settlement information for all fixed income products.
Once we had received the information an excel spreadsheet had been designed to contain the input of results from the standard settlement instructions survey, Gloss would pull direct from the instructions.
Within Gloss the counter parties instructions and addresses information had to be set up, i.e. Euro Clear, Cedal or Domestic settlement instructions.
Parallel running of Gloss along side existing systems took place and the daily handling of failed trades within the spills and severage lines had to be investigated. Constant liaison with the traders and counterparts ensured accurate reporting back into the system.

* All trades would have to be entered on to Access and confirmations sent to counter parties.
* If a salesman had traded a stock that had not been traded before it had to be set up on the database.
* Running overnight sheets, these sheets are important as they show the US traders in NY what trades have been executed.
* Adding of new clients onto the company system.

* The primary responsibility of the Department was to supply and back up information given to Fund Managers in relation to pricing (historical). Additional duties included.
* Supplying Hill Samuels clients with this information.
* Supplying data with regards to its classification and description.
* Collate daily input of prices at close of business on the last working day. These were taken from Bloomberg. Reuters and Extel.
* Updating spread sheets of external prices for Hill Samuel clients.
* Maintenance / production and ongoing monitoring of price sources to reduce manual pricing.
* Due to merger between Hill Samuel and Lloyds, liaison between both companies outside brokers had to be reinstated and news brokers approached. Usual business with UK and International brokers was to value coupon and factors rates with adjustable rate mortgage bonds, acid back and Canadian and US bonds.
* Liaison with Fund Managers with updated progress on the above.
* Loading trades onto the system with regards to prices, stock classification, i.e. which industrial sector it occupies and stock description.
