DETAILED WORK EXPERIENCE

August 2007 – Present Snamprogetti Ltd.

Project: Bandar Abbas Gas Condensate Refinery.

As part of the Process Group, my principal responsibilities are:

* Generation and checking of process calculations, duty specifications and process equipment datasheets, such as: storage tanks, horizontal vessels, pumps, sumps and valves specifications.
* Development and mark up of PFD's, including heat & mass balances, based on process requirements provided in clients specifications
* Generation of hydraulic calculations, line list, equipment list and utility summary.
* Development and mark up of P&ID's

July 2006 – September 2007 Mott MacDonald – Oil & Gas

Project: AGIP KCO commissioned Mott MacDonald to undertake the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Rail Loading Facilities (RLF) and the Marshalling Yard (MYD) for the export of Oil and Sulphur produced from the Onshore Processing Facility (OPF).

Roles/Responsibilities/Skills:

* Development and mark up of PFD's, including heat & mass balances, based on process requirements provided in clients specifications
* Development and mark up of P&ID's
* Equipment design (pumps, lines, storage tanks and process control elements)
* Liaising with the process engineers at Mumbai office, being the point of contact in the Croydon offices, delegating and coordinating load of work to complete deliverables of the project.
* Process support to instrumentation, mechanical and electrical disciplines completing datasheets and other documents such the equipment list and the electric load list
* Participation in HAZOP by assisting the senior process engineers
* Report writing for the "catalysts and chemicals" and "effluents and emissions"
* Assistance in SIL Assessment

Project: Underground gas storage Facilities in Aardgasbuffer Zuidwending (Holland) for the injection and production of gas – EPCM

Roles/Responsibilities/Skills:

* Development of the flow diagram "plant control schematic" for the entire process of injection and production of gas in order to facilitate understanding for all the project team.
* Assistance of senior process engineers in the HAZOPs and acting as HAZOP secretary.

2004 (January – September)

* When working with the Ministry of Development from Colombia, I was responsible for the calculations, engineering design, PFD, P&ID and technical support for municipal water and wastewater treatment plants located around Colombia. Usually with the purpose of meeting local and international environmental standards. An example of this was the design of the primary and secondary waste water treatment plant and the definition of specifications and capacity of all of the waste water treatment plant equipment for Familia Ltda. (Cajica, Colombia).
* I studied the projects of our clients in Brazil, Ecuador and Venezuela in order to achieve Quality certifications.
* I demonstrated quality assurance procedures to customers on factory visits.
* I performed Quality Audits at the factories visited and managed all Quality Assurance in the different factories contracted to our services.
* I managed a team of minimum 6 people; assigning them tasks, and motivating them to meet deadlines.
* I analysed the Quality Assurance System and made recommendations for improvements.

2000 – 2002 Research Technician. Mol Labs Ltda. Responsibilities:

* Formulated new product lines and conducted the relevant laboratory experiments.
* Performed a viability study to produce Analytical Kits for Water Treatment.
* Tested new products to check that they met the International Standards for chemical products.

LANGUAGES

I am fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. I taught myself Portuguese whilst travelling in Brazil and working for companies settled there, reaching a good understanding of Portuguese language and culture.
