Projects:

1. 678MW Barka Power & Desalination Plant Phase II, Oman
Project Barka Phase II is a 678 MW and 26.4 MIGD (million imperial gallons per day) independent water and power project ("IWPP") in combined cycle multishaft arrangement, located in the Sultanate of Oman.
* Conceptual pipe planning for Fuel Oil System, Fuel Gas System, Gas Turbine Generator Cooling System, Demineralized Water System, Service Water System, Service Air System and Instrument Air System. (for early power phase of project)
Also did the complete pipe routing and design for HRSG Feed water System and Main Steam System under the entire power phase of project.
* Detailed piping layout design for above mentioned systems (PDS Piping Designer) which included
 Tank farm piping
 Piping Connected to pumps
 Drains and vents
* Coordinated with PDS administrator in PDS model setup and preparation of PDS CAD manual.
* Prepared piping line list, valve list and special items list.
* Directed the work of piping drafters for development of piping general arrangement drawings.
* Generated piping isometrics (both system and fabrication) from the PDS 3-D model for the above mentioned systems.
* Submitted piping and insulation bill of materials to procurement engineer.
* Coordinated with other disciplines for different activities like Tank nozzle orientation with Mechanical Equipment Design, Flow meter, Pressure Indicator and other instruments with Instrumentation, Building design review with civil engineer and P&ID review for Process department.

 Siemens Power Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, India – Engineer (Plant Layout) (July 2005 – May 2006)
SPEL, India is a global competence centre of the Siemens Power Generation Group, which performs design activities for fossil fuel fired Power Plants covering disciplines like Plant Layouts, Civil & Architecture, Piping, Electrical and BoP in 3D Environment.

Job Profile:
* Fixing the general layout with the help of all the disciplines i.e electrical, civil, architectural etc. This includes fixing the position of grids for structural engineers, fixing the number of floors in a building etc.

Single-shaft combined-cycle power plant – equipped with the highly efficient W501G gas turbine, hydrogen-cooled generator, single side exhausting KN Steam turbine and a Benson™ once-through heat recovery steam generator (Benson™-OT HRSG).
* Developed equipment layout for Gas Turbine Building which included Gas Turbine, Fuel Oil Skid, Fuel Gas Skid, Compressor Wash Skid, Lube Oil Skid, Water Injection Skid, Air Compressor skid.
* Routing of high energy steam piping from HRSG to Steam Turbine (in PDS Piping Designer).
* HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) modeling (in PDS Equipment modeling).

 Eicher Tractors, Bhopal - Graduate Trainee (Jan. 2004 – June 2004)

Underwent six months industrial training (during the course of my graduation) at Tractor assembly division.
