* Experience in building and repairs of coal fired boilers, Tunnel Kilns, Rotary kilns, Transfer Kiln Cars
* Interpretation of drawings and schedules, and working from plans and specifications.
* Use various tools and brick cutting machine to cut and shape bricks.
* Background in a wide range of industries, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plant Hire, Hygiene services and industrial process control.
* Liaising with Local Authorities with regards to details of construction by-laws.
* Verifying claims and certificates submitted by contractors on projects undertaken by the company
* Strategic planning, staffing, and Materials Resource Planning (MRP).
* Scaffolding erection and inspections
* Supervision, imparting technical skills and knowledge to subordinates e.g. assistants, apprentices and trainees on attachment when performing tasks with them.

* Compiling the internal audit reports for use by Management and the Management Representative.
* Ensuring the preventive and corrective actions are implemented.
* Carrying out 2nd party audits and being a guide during third party audits.

ACHIEVEMENTS
* Successfully implemented the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System as a team. The station became the first Thermal Power Station in Southern Africa to be certified.
* Involved in the refurbishment of Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority Bulawayo Power Station with International contractors (Babcock, ABB Stal and SwedPower)
