Underground Experience:- Capable to work in a underground mines as a mine surveyor. Arrange all types of permission from DGMS. Maintaining all types of statutory plans as required by CMR¡¦1957. Arrange depillaring panel permission. Preparation of all types of underground plans. Quarterly survey, check survey etc. Shaft sinking, Gradient maintain, Bore hole marking etc.

Surveying and Leveling: - (Open Cast Experience)

Preparation of all types of plan. Capable to handle all types of modern surveying instruments. Valid certificate holder for underground survey. Demarcation of surface features. Contouring and levelling. Volume calculation. Preparation of sections, Area measurement. Formation of benches for plying heavy earth moving machineries in the mines. Gradient maintain. Correlation survey. Study of borehole data. Preparing action programmed for smooth production. Study of geological plans. Stock maintain. Submission of monthly and yearly return. Diversion of nalla and river. Reclamation work. Afforestation. Dust suppuration by sprinkling water. Keeping all records.

WORK EXPERIENCE: -( For coal mines in India only)

Land Acquisition:-

Under land acquisition Act, 1894, approx. 30 hectts railway acquired land has been released from railway board for extension of existing mine. Acquisition of tenancy land from tenant, acquisition of GMK land from state government, compensation payment as per rule to the land looser, shifting of basti and village, registration of acquired land, arrange rehabilitation programmed for opening a new project.

Diversion of Forest Land: -

Approx. 223 hectts. forest land was released from MOEF for mining purpose in the year 2004.Recently a proposal for releasing 30 hectts. forest land has been submitted to the District Forest Officer.

Responsibilities: -

Under the Forest (Conservation) Act,1980, arrange rehabilitation programmed of displaced persons and prepare rehabilitation plan maintaining socio-culture, religious value, unique eco-system etc. Compensatory afforestation against released forest land. Submission of application for diversion of forest land to-non-forest purpose with all requisite papers and plan from DFO level to MOEF.

d) Demarcation of land.

Environment Clearance: -

Under Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, making EIA (Environment Impact Assessment) and EMP(Environment Management Plan) for obtaining no objection certificate from State Government for opening new industry.

Steps:-

a) Submission application with requisite fees and papers.
b) Technical Presentation.
c) Arrange public hearing with local affected people residing surrounding the proposed area, Govt. authorities and management.
d) Submission of annual/monthly water consent fees and air emission fees to the state pollution control board.

Safety: - Rescue trained. Capable to maintain all safety measures as per statutory norms. Arrange pit safety committee meeting. Making rescue plan.

Liaising with the Govt. Department: -

Director General of Mines Safety- Responsible for maintaining all types of statutory plans as required by CMR¡¦1957 & MMR¡¦1961. Preparation of plans and sections for obtaining permission from the directorate.
District Mining Officer(State Govt.)- Submission of monthly report for royalty payment after reconciliation.
Deptt. of Mines(State Govt.)- Renewal of mining lease an obtaining newmining lease.
Controller of Explosive- For installation of new magazine, storing explosive and obtaining licence.
Coal Controller- Permission for working in a virgin seam.
Indian Bureau of Mines- Mineral deposition and its utilization.
Central Mine Planning and Design Institute- Making project report and arrange different scientific studies.
Chief Mining Advisor, Railway Board- For opening new siding to dispatch minerals.

Role in present organization: - Sr, Surveyor(Mines).

My responsibilities as a Mine Surveyor are as follows:-

a) To prepare long term project.
b) To prepare action programme or operation plan.
c) To carryout proper drainage survey to prevent inrush of water into the mine for smooth production all over the year.
d)To maintain the gradient of haul road for smooth plying of the heavy earth moving machineries.
e)To carryout OB dump survey regularly to sort out minimum lead and also maintain the slope of the OB dump.
f)Accurate measurement of coal stock and OBR.
g)Maintain bench position.
h)To prepare and maintain accurate plans and sections.

My responsibilities and duties for opening a large open cast mine in virgin block are as follows:-
1) Reconnaissance of the whole area.
2) Study of the geological plan.
3) Study of borehole data.
4) A surface triangulation will be conducted showing all the important features.
5) A base line will be selected in a suitable place which will not to be disturbed by any mining operation.
6) With respect to that base line whole area divided into grid squares and recorded, named as base & section.
7) Initially surface level at each junction is to be taken.
8) The girding system should cover upto 100 m beyond all sides of surrounding proposed quarry.
9) Permanent pillars are to be constructed all sides surrounding the proposed quarry.
10) Separate longitudinal sections are to be prepared each section line.
11) Submission of two copies plan showing the lease hold boundary and openings of the mine, trijunction or revenue pillars and other permanent features submitted in Form I to the regional inspector of
DGMS.
Preparation of Transportation proposal for smooth dispatch of mineral. Rail dispatch etc.
