To get a full-time Mining Engineering or related position, with a focus on Mine Planning,
Production Scheduling or Mine Production Supervision.

CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
Did a successful mine production and efficiency project which optimized mining operations at Golden Valley Gold Mine. This resulted in more production with less man-hours.
Re-designed the men transportation system at BHP Hartley Platinum Mine which resulted in overall improved efficiency in terms of reducing change of shifts downtime, and hence improved production levels.
Redesigned the ore handling system at BHP Hartley Platinum, with a focus on ore passes and chutes to minimize clogging and having faster ore movement.
Participated in the design of a new open pit at Maligreen Gold Mines, and selected the equipment for the new pit.
Managed the opening of a new coal mine at Mchenga Coal Mines. This mine produced 40 percent of the mine's production.
Participated in ore reserve estimation projects at all the mines I have been involved with.
Was a Mines Rescue Brigadesman from June 1994 to Deecmber 1997, and participated in extinguishing the Dalny Mine (Falcon Group) underground fire which was at 2 kilometres deep, and took 7 days to extinguish.
Successfully managed open pit operations for three years. Operations included close liaison with contractors who were responsible for drilling and blasting.
Have good man-management skills and have managed production teams of up to 300 people.
Have been successful with short and long term mine planning, and have done this for eight years.
