Work consisted mostly of general underground labor, laying of track/trolley wire, cutting and welding, operating a 20 ton locomotive and various track equip, scoops, ram-car., miner helper, ventilation, belt work, clean-up of rock falls, and other various tasks.

Worked at three of United Coal's mines doing various maintenance work, setting miner bits and inserts, welding on lugs, changing out ripper head motors and drums, mat chains, replacing hydraulic cylinders, set-up of belt drives and tailpieces, splicing belt with flexico splices, welding and cutting, other various mechanic work.
