Senior Exploration Geologist, Aziana Exploration Corporation ( Madagascar)
May 2008 to Present
Work is a promotion into a Senior Geologist role with tasks of exploration and mineral evaluation of AEC's advance stage gold projects in Madagascar. The position directly reports to the President and Project Manager.
The undersigned was involved from the discovery to advance drilling stage of Alakamisy Gold Project in Central Madagascar, an archaean structurally controlled laterite – mud hosted gold deposit emplaced within highly deformed and metamorphosed sediments. A total core meterage of about 2.5km was completed todate, and still on going. The project key functions includes:

Management of the project exploration and drilling programs, including the supervision of 5 malagasy junior geologist, 20 project staff, 4 drillers, and more than 200 local labors.

Main role is the timely evaluation and documentation of drilling related data and progress, to include photo documentations, borehole surveys, geotechs / RQD, bulk density measurements, sample preparations, insertion of standards, duplicates and blanks in the sample stream, sample shipment and dispatch to Genalysis and SGS Laboratories in Perth (Australia) and Johhannesberg (Africa), among others.

Maintain a robust project database including GIS-based map datasets.

Establish and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols and ensure this are within mine industry standard practices.

Consolidation and regular updating, collation and integration of project master datasets, including audits, validation and back-ups. Interpolate and interpret geological and assay data and transform into decent maps, sections, graphs and 3D models using appropriate mining software packages.

Regular submission of reports and updates on the result of projects work to the Upper Management, including technical presentations to the Board of Directors for the investing community.

Established and streamlined geochemical / geophysical and geological exploration procedures through orientation work, data entry management and pilot testing emerging techniques in project work.

Project Exploration Geologist, Aziana Exploration Corporation ( Madagascar)
November 2006 to May 2008
Responsible for the regional geological / geochemical assessment of gold and basemetals, associated with archaean rocks in Madagascar (Africa). The work objective is to explore potential large scale gold deposits in the country employing systematic exploration methods and concepts.The position directly reports to the President and Project Manager.
Regular conduct of 1st to 2nd pass regional to semi-detailed scale geological mapping and geochemical sampling on AEC's tenements. The company's primary target is gold and basemetals with interest in bauxites (aluminum) and uranium. Todate, six (6) different gold prospects were assessed by the undersigned, including a major gold discovery in Central Madagascar, the Alakamisy-Antanisoa structure-controlled gold system. This area is now on advance project drilling stage.
The undersigned discovered several bauxite (aluminum) deposits in South Madagascar, which has license AEC to more than 200 square kilometers surrounding the world class bauxite deposits of Alcan Resources with > 150 MT @ 48% Al203.
Lead field mapping teams, planning and supervising geochemical programs, including training of local malagasy geos and crews in the implementation of field protocols, QA/QC for sampling, drilling and core logging.
Establishing and Maintaining Exploration Database System. This include regular updates, data validation, data entry and back-ups. Analysis, interpretation and reporting of field geology and geochemical data sets.
Managed and administered inventories of geochem/geophysical samples for laboratory submission, reporting, archiving, quality control and assurance.
Compilation of regional and geological database for use in project generation work type as a tool in prioritizing target areas.

Project Exploration Geologist, East Asia Minerals Corporation (Mongolia)
May 2005 to November 2006
Responsible for the exploration and mineral evaluation of EAM's gold - copper projects in Mongolia. Primary focus was the conduct of semi-detailed to detailed geological studies on the company's tenements in West (Khok Adar) and North (Tavt) Mongolia. The position directly reports to the Exploration – Country Manager.
The undersigned has been actively involve from discovery to pre-feasibility drilling stage of Khok Adar Deposit in West Mongolia, a Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) Zn-Ag-Pb system with high grade "exotic" copper overprint. A combined total (core / rc / rab) drilling meterage of 14Km was completed, with a global resource estimate at 0.30% Cu of 1.40MT @ 1.4% Cu and 6.01 gpt Ag. The project key functions includes:

Management of the project exploration and drilling programs, including the supervision of 2 mongol junior geologist, 10 EAM field labors, and about 20 field contractors (i.e. drillers, geophysics, surveyors, etc).

Main role is the timely evaluation and documentation of drilling related data and progress, to include photo documentations, borehole surveys, geotechs / RQD, bulk density measurements, sample preparations, insertion of standards, duplicates and blanks in the sample stream, sample shipment and dispatch to Ulaanbatar Laboratories, contractors performances, among others. Prepares and submit weekly (and monthly) accomplishment reports which deal on the project drilling updates and development.

Establish and maintain a robust project database including GIS-based datasets.

Establish and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols and ensure this are within mine industry standard practices.

Consolidation and regular updating, collation and integration of project master datasets, including audits, validation and back-ups to facilitate the rigorous requirements for resource evaluation. Interpolate and interpret geological and assay data and transform into decent maps, sections, graphs, wireframes and 3D models using appropriate geostats / mining software packages.

Secondary role is planning and supervision of tenement-wide regional exploration programme around Khok Adar with the objective of finding another Khok Adar "look-alikes". Regional work led to the discovery of three (3) Cu oxide bearing zones similar to KA mineralization within the 10 km strike potential, subject for follow-up work.

Senior Computing / GIS Geologist, Filminera Resources Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thistle Mining Inc of Canada - (Masbate-Philippines)
July 2004 to May 2005
Contract work is associated with the completion of a bankable feasibility study for the epithermal gold property in Aroroy- Masbate (formerly Atlas Mines-MGO). Ensuring the drill exercise and methodology meets 'mine industry standards'. Todate, the mine development is on-going and will commence production 2nd Quarter of 2009.
The position directly reports to the Chief Geologist of the Company.

Main responsibility is the collection, documentation, processing, interpretation, reporting, indexing and archiving all drilling data and progress, including relevant project work activities related to mapping, sampling, sample preparation, QA/QC, database and GIS, and consolidation of geologic datasets to facilitate the requirement for bankable feasibility studies in conformance to internationally accepted technical standards.

Assist in the synthesis and analysis of geological datasets including interpretations, data presentations (i.e. plans, sections, graph), 2D-3D modeling, resource estimation and so forth.

Key accomplishment is the creation and establishment of a GIS-Based mapping system, resulting in a systematic and efficient process of deposit target definition. The process includes the collation, digitizing to integration of all geological and drilling data using the Mapinfo GIS v.7.5 software package. Surface plans, sections and thematic maps in various forms and scales were produced since then.

Prepares and submit statutory accomplishment reports which deal on the project drilling updates and development.

Senior Geologist, DENR-Mines and Geosciences Bureau, CARAGA Region (Surigao-Philippines)
Project Geologist (short term appointment) for RP-Korea Joint Mineral Exploration in Surigao
March 2002 to July 2004

The main scope of work is public service, as a mandate for MGB's Regional Office. Work functions are related but not limited to geo-environmental, hydro-geological, mineral exploration, regional mapping, and engineering geology.
The position directly reports to the Chief Geologist and to the MGB Regional Director.

Plans and execute regional to detaiiled stage Geological "Quadrangle" Mapping / sampling surveys on large areas with known mineral prospects, and to render independent judgment in the interpretation of the gathered geological facts. These include the resource evaluation on the extent of identified mineralization areas. Several Au and Au-Cu bearing areas visited within mineralized belt of Surigao-Agusan. Those Au bearing prospects in Agusan are Mt. Bulawan, Sinug-ang, CO-O (Banahaw) Au Mines, Rosario and Puting Bato. Whereas, Masgad-Cansayong (Au), Gacepan Cu, Southseas-Mabuhay Au mine, Red-5 Siana Au mine, Bayugo-Boyungan Porphyry Cu-Au, and Manila Mining Placer Au-Cu in Surigao District. Short visit trips to nickel bearing laterite and chromite mines in Surigao.

Conducts Engineering, Geological and Geohazard Assessment surveys (EGGA) and Geohazard Identification Survey (GIS) on various land development and housing / subdivision projects. The report output forms part of the requirements to be submitted by project proponent to DENR-EMB relative to the issuance of Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC).

Involved in various geo-technical evaluation of sanitary landfill / dump sites, river and groundwater assessment and other environmentally critical / hazardous areas.

Appointed representative for government sponsored mineral exploration work (from grassroots to detailed stage) for epithermal Au- and porphyry Cu-Au targets within Surigao Gold District. Work programs include geological mapping and geochem soil / rock sampling (picket lines, ridge and spur, etc). BLEG, stream sediment and pan concentrate samples taken on pre-selected areas. Supervision of ground magnetics and IP surveys. These activities are short duration joint investigation projects between RP and Korean government.

Assisted the Chief / Supervising Geologist with responsibility of directing and controlling geological works. Regularly prepare and submit technical reports with attachment maps, illustrations, graphs, photos, etc. after the conduct of every field activity.

Project Exploration Geologist, Manila Mining Corporation-Placer Au-Cu Project (Surigao-Philippines)
May 2001 to March 2002

The work reports to the Chief / Senior Geologist., supervised about 4 local field samplers/mappers. The role is mine-based exploration work involving prospect ranking, testing and evaluation of Manila Mining Au only and Au-Cu prospects around the mine site. The prospect areas drilled and evaluated are as follows;
