PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
African Explosives limited (1998 - Present)
Area Manager, Site Manager (April 2003 - Present) Duty tour in Ghana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Egypt.
* Currently managing an Emulsion Plant and Mobile Manufacturing Units in fast growing operations at Sukari Gold Mine, Egypt.
* Lead three subsequent customer service sites to the best World Class Rated operations in African Explosives Limited (AEL).
* Proven skills in systems and auditing management, total quality control and assurance.
* Drill rigs management in terms of blasthole drilling and maintenance scheduling, consumable and spares coordination.
* Supervised the development of mining technology associated with the application of third generation electronic detonators and underground bulk systems at Zimplast, Ngezi mine in Zimbabwe.
* Managed large blasting solution operations with two direct reports in a team of fifty-four persons. Supplying 2,300 tons of bulk explosives with four Mobile Manufacturing Units and offering blasting technical support in Ghana.
* Proved versatile by working across culture and managing remote sites customer service sites on an Implast investment in Zimbabwe; a Resolute Resources gold mine in Tanzania and now on a Centamin gold mine in Egypt (site with explosives manufacturing plant).
* Assist senior managers in undertaking pricing and contract negotiations, rise and fall adjustments, tender processes and contributed in formulating and executing strategies.
* Accountable for the effective management, leadership and growth of subordinates, succession planning, and performance manage work of staff to ensure that procedures performed support standard World Class Systems, and ensure that overall operational objectives are achieved.
* Promote and manage the Company's vision and values within my area of responsibility by actively demonstrating a hands-on approach in the planning, leading and continually implementing the World Class Systems.
Field Services & Site Superintendent (June 1998 – March 2003) Duty tour in Ghana, Mali, Guinea, Tanzania.
* As a key team member, I supervised the introduction of Smartdet® electronic detonators to Damang Gold Mines, GFGL.
* Versatile in wide range of explosives products application in both surface and underground operations.
* Performed relieving duties at short notice to incumbent Superintendents of remote site operations in three African countries. This is achieved through my ability to resolve basic tasks and activity systematically on a day-to-day basis.
* Managed opportunities in creating sound operating systems with focus on Customer care, Technical Support, improved operational systems and promoted a continual World Class Systems on a day-to-day basis.
* Managed customer services sites with magazines and manufacturing facilities including ANFO and bulk emulsion plants.

My international exposure in the industry reflect my ability in delivering in a cross culture environment is contributed to my cross cultural, international exposures and my ability to work at remote sites; I am presently managing a bulk site operations at Sukari Mine in Egypt and had over a year's duty tour at Golden Pride Mine in Tanzania, a period at Zimplats Mine in Zimbabwe and as Site Superitendents at Geita Mine and Bulyanhulu Mine also in Tanzania some. I have also performed, relieving duties on AEL sites at Siguiri Mine in Guinea and Morila Mine in Mali.
