I am applying for a Rig/Heavy Duty Mechanic position. I am a very reliable and dependable individual. I take pride in my work and do it in a safe and timely manner. I have worked in many different multicultural areas both in Canada and outside of Canada where you have to be somewhat of a diplomat to get the job done. I have a very positive out look to life and I don't look at the glass as being half empty rather as half full. My various experiences in different industries bring new and diverse ideas to solving problems. I am a team player and am willing to take other peoples input and suggestions. * This is a pad operation where 14 to 20 holes are being drilled. The rig is self-contained and is able to skid from hole to hole on mat rollers.
* The holes are all horizontal and directional drilling is used.
* PM program is used and I look after the program both on the computer and hard copy in a filling system. This is all reported to the mechanical supervisor in the main office. I am familiar with Excel and Word programs.
