Communication and Leadership skills
I began to develop these skills through my leadership roles at the University of Zambia were I was an electoral commissioner for the students union and chairman of Prime Time a students association. These positions helped me develop my public speaking abilities through chairing of meetings. I further improved these abilities when I started work, as a sectional metallurgist had to effectively communicate issues of my section to plant management.

Organisation and Planning skills
I discovered my ability to effectively organise and plan my work during my undergraduate studies. As chairman and commissioner of students associations I had to structure my working schedules to meet deadlines for school assignment and also perform in my leadership positions. I have further improved these abilities during my postgraduate studies were I have to independently organise and plan my working schedules.
Information Management skills
I learnt to manage different types information firstly through handling my associations' information during my undergraduate studies at university. Also writing my thesis both at undergraduate and postgraduate level has taught me good information management skills.

Analytical skills
I have acquired abilities to critically analyse data to extract information during my undergraduate and postgraduate research activities for my thesis. Also my work as a metallurgist exposed me to different levels of analysing data and thereafter making conclusions and recommendations for plant performance improvements.

General
I am hard working and goal oriented. I like using creativity and initiative to find solutions to problems, I also enjoy seeing my work successfully completed.
