July 2000 to date working with Bulyanhulu Gold Project, a subsidiary of Barrick International at Kahama – Tanzania. Mechanical Maintenance Planner – April 11, 2003 to date. Produce weekly forecasts (schedules) of planned work. * Produce work order to all work to be planned and scheduled. Monitor, coordinate and report progress to management during work execution on maintenance shutdown and major overhaul. Data capture from vendors, update maintenance records and produce report for vendor services to Process plant. Advice Mechanical department with solution based on machine service records. Responsible in preparing report for maintenance failure and trend analysis to identify maintenance problems. Planning and Scheduling all plant shut down and periodic maintenance in MS-Project format. Ensures the work orders are entered and updated in the maintenance Management system Plant maintenance Supervisor. / July17, 2000 to April 10,2003. 2+ years hands on supervisor. Supervises the efficient and safe implementation of preventive maintenance schedules. Including determining priorities allocating manpower and equipments / tools and ensuring the timely completion of the job according to schedule and work permits. Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in Mechanical maintenance section by performing supervisory duties at level established by management for the position. Adheres all safety procedures and ensure that subordinates implement them. Ensure good housekeeping on the work location. Supervises the repair of various equipment and personally troubleshoot major jobs. Determine and implement proper repair procedure. Recruiting and training new employees in the section. Involved in the commissioning of Process Plant and its extension. Planning, organizing and managing a group of ten Technician in daily plant Preventive maintenance.
