Senior Technical Solutions Analyst
Responsibilities:

* Monitor and provide day-to-day IT operations and application support to mainly Petronas Dagangan users, work closely with users for timely fix of incidents and enhancements, problem troubleshooting, resolution & escalation, provide consultation and recommendations in response to service enhancement requests.

* July 2006 – TAS at Senari IOT, Kuching. Work with vendor Foxboro to develop the communication program to interface with PDB SAP r3 using vb.net. Assist the network team on the network commissioning, firewall configuration, integration test etc. Involve in the UAT using SAP screen such as ZVQS, ZVA01, VAL01n, O4F1, O4F2, O4G1, O4G2, WE05, SM58, SM59 etc.

* July 2006 – GPS (www.smartfleet.com) for PDB road tankers. Assisting the vendor on the SAP text file containing schedules of deliveries to be uploaded into the GPS website. Working with SAP team to automate the uploading instead of manually login & upload.

* 2005 till now – PDB TAS(Terminal Automation system) Omega (Diamond Key International) – SAP interface at Kerteh & Melaka depot. Involve in preparing the security paper, application for firewall approval, configuration/testing of the Omega server(linux), the UAT of the SAP Interface, user training, after live support, administration/configuration of TAS test server(Linux) etc. Provide 1st level support on the application ie. Incident logging, problem troubleshooting, resolution & escalation to vendor/service provider etc.

* 2005 till now - PDB Aspire intranet. Provide support on the application ie. User profiling, assisting on users web page creation, publishing/approval, batch updating of info using sql script & MS sql server client, problem troubleshooting, resolution & escalation etc.

* 2005 till now - SIMS(Sales & Inventory Mgt System for ASR stations) www.asr-pdb.com.my. Involved in requirement study, assisting development team to meet user requirement(identifying correct table/data to be extracted/used), preparing the security paper, application for firewall approval, assist user in UAT, implementation & IIS 6 tuning, after live support, monitoring web site availability, adhoc reporting using Crystal Report 10.

* 2005 till now - FMS(Fleet Mgt System). Involved in UAT, training, implementation(PC setup & Oracle/FMS client installation), users creation & after live support, adhoc reporting using Crystal Report 10, problem resolution & escalation.

* 2005. CMS (Card Mgt System). Involved in daily operation ie. Execution & monitoring of Daily/monthly billing batch jobs, monthly/backup/restore, server availability, adhoc data extraction/reporting, monitoring of space utilization etc, problem resolution & escalation.

* 2006 – GVSI Daily Price Upload. Creation/testing of FTP script, monitoring of daily data ftp from GVSI server in USA to KLCC, ensure that SAP can extract the data & records updated, troubleshooting, escalation etc.

Responsibilities:

* ARTSS(Automated Road Tanker Scheduling System) from Aspentech. Involving in providing support to users, perform monthly backup & Oracle database cleanup, involved in UAT/stress test, monitoring SAP BC(middleware) server in production system, ahoc data extraction & reporting using Crystal Report 10, software installation/configuration on client PC, monitoring DB/apps server availability, problem escalation etc.

* Budget System using Notes R5/lotusscript. Involved in preparing system documentation, user requirement study, system development, system testing, users training etc. Budget system is a notes database used to keep data(Div/dept, cost centres, how much allocation, etc ) for that financial year. It also able to generate reports & graph from Notes R5 into 123 spreadsheet.

* Developing SAP Online Training Registration intranet using Notes R5/lotusscript. Involved in preparing system documentation, user requirement study, development, system testing etc. User can use the system to view the courses available using IE & register the for it online. History of attended training by users will also be kept for viewing.

* Developing Lubricant intranet using Notes R5/lotusscript/javascript/html. Involved in preparing user requirement, system documentation, development, system testing etc.

* Developing PDB intranet using Notes R5/lotusscript. Involved in preparing user requirement, system documentation, development, system testing etc. Assisting users to update the news highlight & enhancement.

* Installation/implementation of DOCS (Depot Operation Continuity System). Involved in installation of Win2K server, installation of Oracle 8i database for depots, db replication setup, users creation, system documentation, training, system roll out, etc. Provide supports to users, ensure day to day Oracle data replication is succesfull at depots.

* Others-Windows 2K server/workstation installation, PC problem diagnostics & troubleshooting, PC memory upgrade, network configuration, printer setting, modem installation, softwares deployment using Novell Admin etc.

* Developing Battery Tracking System (BTS) using MS Visual Basic 6, SQL server 2000, Crystal Report & MS access for Kwikpart Sdn Bhd. Generating barcode for the battery & scanning the barcode using the handheld scanner for inventory tracking purposes.

* Developing Domino Pizza Order Taking System (DOTS) using MS Visual Basic 6, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Crystal Report and Microsoft Access as the database and Crystal Report as reporting tools. The system is being used to take pizza order when customer called by phone. Customer info. & details will be taken and stored in the db for tracking etc.

May 1999 – Dec 2000
* Involved in user requirement study, functional specification, system analysis and design including the system development of North South Expressway Inventory & Maintenance Management System using MS Visual Basic 6, Visual SourceSafe and Oracle 8i as the database, and Crystal Report 7 as reporting tools. The system will keep all the inventory and inspections records in the expressway including images.
* The system which is installed at 3 different regions (North, Central, South) involving integration with GIS using MapObject to show the location of the inventories.
* Building prototype on Expressway Slope Maintenance of the subsystem using MS-Access 97.
* Also involved in installation of the Oracle 8i databases, deployment and configuration of the Teman client software at all the region offices throughout Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
* Supporting Multistream Hypertape multi platform backup system running under Unix environment which capable of doing backup for Novell, SAP, Oracle etc. installed in PETRONAS.
