As a co-owner and Director, I act as a technical advisor to the Newfoundland sales force. My duties include conducting technical interviews with applicant consultants and researching new marketing opportunities. Currently selling Linux products and services.

Director of Business Development with Worldwide Technology Solutions, Inc (WTS).
Full-time employee, I wrote proposals, met with potential clients, and worked on sales. I also acted as a technical advisor to the sales force. I introduced, developed, and marketed the concept of Operational Recovery Planning at WTS. My duties included conducting technical interviews with applicant consultants and researching new marketing opportunities. I also worked on developing the Cyber Security market, demonstrating penetration testing to potential clients, and selling Linux products and services.
November 2001 - April 2001
Project Manager on Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) IT Services ORP.
I supervised a team of seven consultants who created the Caltrans IT services ORP. Besides the normal project management duties, my tasks included interviewing Caltrans Staff, doing onsite visits, reviewing hundreds of pages of documentation (most of it out of date), writing the business impact assessment, Gap Analysis, proposed ORP template, proposed Security Policies and Best Practices for Caltrans IT Services, Incident Report Template, Incident Reports, Testing, the final document, several training courses, and 150 recommendations for immediate improvement. The Caltrans IT network is the largest network in the State of California.

Wrote a generic disaster recovery plan for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server users.
