Overview:

(1) (Feb. 83 to Oct. 83) Collating the pre-commissioning and commissioning (RFC) documents, updating the punch lists, assisting the documentation supervisor by all means in handing over the system file to the client. Apart from archiving, prepared to perform other miscellaneous tasks pertaining to the project implementation.
    Arranged various documents like process design basis, PFD, P&ID, process description, equipment data sheets, instrument data sheets, specifications, method statements, calculation notes, vendors list, standard practices and codes for inclusion in the facilities file.
    
(2) (Apr. 86 to Jan 88) Attending the customers, demonstrating the system, keeping track of customer’s requirements, word processing, data entry, general filing and to keep appropriate records and technical certificates up to date.
    Preparing worksheets on price implication of materials, submitting quotations, managing personnel records/timesheets, creating necessary formats for different presentations / submissions.

(3) (Feb. 88 to Dec. 88) Creating and updating the plant & equipment schedule, mob / demob chart, schedule for plant parts such as valves, pumps, compressors, piping, electrical components and other bulk items. Archiving method statements, project procedures and international test procedures etc. Word processing for the whole PMT. Developed and implemented an integrated filing system.
    Follow-up the status of document review reports, technical queries, change order and trend notices.

(4) ((Feb.89 to Jan 91) Logging correspondence, filing, computer usage in preparation of daily activity reports, weekly and monthly progress reports. Reviewed submittals / approvals, receiving-cum-damage reports, invoices and payment certificates. Supporting the PRO in the matter of notice of intent, letter of assistance and security passes.

    Adhered to systems providing methods to issue, approve, distribute, and update the controlled documents so that all distributed copies of the same are kept current.

(5) (Mar. 91 to Jan 92) Correspondence to suppliers and sub-contractors based on the requirements of site engineers. Secretarial work, drafting / planning, scheduling, tendering etc. Technical / clerical duties with site engineering co-ordinator in preparation of statements with additional responsibilities at management’s discretion.
    Co-ordination with outside suppliers, subcontractors, and liaise with in- house procurement, project, construction departments.

(6) (Feb. 92 to Jun 94) Indexing the correspondence, maintaining the document flow chart in order, follow-up of document status report, created and successfully managed the master filing system. Inventory work of all documentation including technical drawing in computerised environment. Special attention and services to the logistics dept. in bill of lading, cargo manifest, certificate of quality and quantity and customs duty exemption.
    Actively involved in the formulation and implementation of the methodology of project correspondence / documentation database.

(7) (Aug. 94 to Oct 95) Setting up a documentation database to control various documentation such as purchase orders, executive correspondences, certification, data books, drawings, and manufacturer’s operating and maintenance manuals/analysis. Followed the Client’s document numbering system without fail and kept a controlled document register. Created the project document library and have developed a system for recording all project documentation using either database or spreadsheet.
    Filtered project-related acronyms, abbreviations, codes and standards from all available sources.

(8) (Jan 96 to May 2001) By collating and coordinating the documents, actively assisted the optimization studies, basic design, tender preparation, bid tabulation, technical evaluation and value engineering reports. Apart from the usage of common spreadsheets / database packages, familiarized the in-house applications developed to integrate the management and control of projects documentation.
    Firm custodian of cost time resource estimate, forecasts, purchase orders, priced offer, letter of intent, execution plan, project schedule and executive correspondence.

(9) At present, involved in the conceptual design phase of epc jobs with a consortium in UAE.
