PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Planned Maintenance System (PMS) ENGINEER,
Teekay Shipping Philippines, Inc., October 2007 – Present
* Builds databases for Planned Maintenance System (RAST Windows) for the new buildings;
* Inputs new ship equipment into the database to enable the company to know the inventory status of spare parts of such equipment, its maintenance status and determine/retrieve relevant information on such equipment; and,
* Updates ships' Surveys and Certificates based on IMO, ISM and/or Class Societies compliance requirements.
3rd ENGINEER, FPSO Berge Helene, BW Offshore, May 2007 – August 2007
* Operate and monitor utility system.
* Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on mechanical equipment for process and utility systems.
* Use the Computerised Maintenance Management System. Select and produce reports, update records, generate workorders.
* Assist in pre-commisioning and commisioning.
* Handle, store and maintain records of relevant hazardous substances.
* Manage waste and emmision systems, including equipment such as incinerator.
* Use and maintain workshop equipment, including tools and instruments.
* Keep department management updated on all work being carried out under my supervision, included status of spare parts / stores and consumable oils.

* Monitor and maintaining Stocks onboard FPSO and ensure that we have all necessary materials and parts to be used by all departments, all the time;
* Build and arrange the storeroom.
* Purchasing all parts and materials needed onboard FPSO.
* Issuing, receiving and updating spare parts in FPSO's Planned Maintenance System.

RAST ENGINEER, Teekay Shipping Philippines, Inc. Aug 1999 – Feb 2004
* Ensured accuracy and completeness of vessel spare parts data in the inventory system (onboard RAST systems) for each owned vessel of the company;
* Updated stocks inventory in the warehouse in Singapore of the company;
* Implemented onboard material identification procedures in adherence to company standards E.g., inventory details of 'missing spare parts' in the RAST system were accounted for using onboard "change request procedures";
* Identified issues/errors with the onboard RAST system, remediate using work-around solutions and report/escalate such issues whenever the situation warranted such;
* Managed the efficient implementation of RAST system procedures for each company-owned vessel;
* Trained the vessels' crewmembers on how to use the RAST system, onboard and at shore;
* Provided weekly progress reports (on RAST system updates done) to the Chief Engineer and/or Master of the vessel as well as to the Project Managers in Vancouver office;
* Planned technical projects, and liaise with the vessel's Chief Engineer for guidance on technical project completion; and,
* Assisted in some emergency situations onboard, as requested by Master or Chief Engineer in compliance with company policies.
