Understands basic units of measurement
Familiar with typical meter types and their operating principles
Aware of industry standards regarding measurement (API, AGA, etc.).
Capable of performing simple material balance calculations.
Familiar with general specifications for metering applications.
Understands sampling methods and is aware of types of material analyses performed
Capable of interpreting and critiquing metering and analysis equipment elements of P&ID's.
Capable of basic troubleshooting of measurement problems through review of balances and meter trends.
Capable of performing meter proving and meter ticket calculations.
Capable of performing software calculations of metered gas volumes
Capable of selecting meters and sampling systems for standard oilfield applications
Capable of developing local standards and procedures for surveillance, sampling and maintenance of most measurement equipment
Familiar with API MPMS and can apply in most situations
