Project engineer in Offshore Advanced Vessel department. Software responsible for IAS on drillship newbuiding projects in Samsung (Stena Drillmax, Mosvold Drilling, Tanker Pacific Management and Petrobras):
- IAS Software completion responsibility, including follow up on project engineers progress for the various applications (Power Management, Thruster/DP, Ballast&Bilge, Cargo, Machinery, HVAC and ESD/Fire&Gas).
- Functional design specification.
- Application implementation according to specification.
- Third party interface engineering and testing.
- FAT preparation.
- Site support after project handover to site.

10.05 - 10.06 Site manager, Kongsberg Maritime, Samsung Heavy Industries - South Korea
Responsible for Kongsberg's daily commissioning of IAS on LNG and offshore new buildings on-site. During my stay I established a commissioning organization to handle completion of IAS for LNG and offshore vessels. Completed IAS deliveries on four LNG carriers in one year;
- Staff management and resource planning of five field engineers and engineers traveling from main office in Norway.
- Testing and IAS application completion, including sea-trials for (Power Management, Ballast&Bilge, Cargo, Machinery, HVAC and Fire&Gas, CTS, Gas Management and Boilers).
- Follow up on shipments and design changes in early stage on drillship and rig projects.
- On-site customer contact.
- IAS operator and technical training for customers and shipyard.
- Follow up on as-built documentation.
- Follow up on design changes and variation requests.
- Assistance to other Kongsberg departments' deliveries in yard.

01.02 - 10.05 Department Manager/Consultant, Aventi Technology AS, Trondheim
Starting and running department with good results, and working as consultant for Kongsberg Maritime in Trondheim.

Department manager tasks:
- Project sales.
- Economy reporting.

- Product Development of Custody Transfer System (CTS) for LNG and general cargo monitoring systems (LNG, LPG, crude and chemical tankers). Including pilot testing, FAT's and commissioning and service world-wide.
