Maintain and control of engineering records, submittals, log at job-site all Contract drawings, Specifications and other records. Maintain current specifications sets and up-to-date Contract documents. Establish, maintain up-to-date and manage log on Contractor's submittals to the Design Consultant Site Supervision to ensure timely response and maintain field file of approved shop drawings, receive and examine Contractor's returned submittals after Design Consultant Site supervision for actions, completeness, revisions numbering systems and dates of the shop drawings and product data samples, etc.
Maintain a manual and computerized (Primavera Expedition) submittal log for scheduling and tracking the above mentioned submittals, monitor time, delays and approvals.

Check the quality of work, verifying that specified changes, as proposed, were incorporated properly and to the highest levels of accuracy and compliance with the approved formats/standards. Mar. 2007 till date: UAE University New Campus PPP Development Project - Al Ain, as a Sr. Document Controller under the sponsorship of MORGANTI INTERNATIONAL.
Responsibilities:
Updating day to day correspondence by logging them in the system (Primavera Expedition). Taking care of all submittals (Materials, Shop Drawings, Request for Inspection (RFI), Material Inspection (MIR), Design and Structural Calculations). Follow up with the concern Engineers to submit the submittals or shop drawings before the deadline (14 days) as per the Baseline Schedule and job priority. Maintaining the Project records with a fair updated filing system as per the Project requirements. Update Contractors performance on weekly basis. Participate in making Weekly Highlights with the Management. Follow up outstanding correspondence. Keep manual drawings, documents lists up-to-date and allocate drawing, material transmittals numbers as required. Establish, maintain up-to-date and manage a log on Contractor's submittals to the Design Consultant Site Supervision to ensure timely response and maintain field file of approved shop drawings, receive and examine Contractor's returned submittals after Design Consultant Site supervision for actions, completeness, revisions numbering systems and dates of the shop drawings and product data samples, etc.
Feb. 2005 to Feb. 2007: Khafji Joint Operations (KJO- Saudi Aramco Gulf Operation) under the sponsorship of ZUHAIR FAYEZ PARTNERSIP, as Document Controller/ Executive Secretary (Dar Al-Handasah Shair & Partner) for the Master Plan - Business Package Project.
Responsibilities:
Drafting letters and memos for the Package Manager of MTD & Workshop and Office Park Packages (Master Plan-Business Package Project). Updating day to day correspondence by logging them in the system. Well knowledge of Primavera Expedition. Taking care of all submittals (Materials, Shop Drawings, Request for Inspection (RFI), Material Inspection (MIR), Design and Structural Calculations). Taking Minutes of Weekly Progress Meeting. Well knowledge of Document Control System. Sept. 1997 to Feb. 2001: Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (SAUDI ARAMCO) Dhahran, as a Document Controller/ Admin Asst under the sponsorship of Dallah Avco Trans Arabia Co.
Responsibilities:
Drafting letters and memo¡¦s, prepare weekly reports, prepare accountability report on quarterly basis, prepare Operating Plan for the upcoming year, maintain the filing system and do administrative operations. Typing scope of work (technical specifications and other related documents required for the design packages). Preparing and sending faxes & emails to USA and other European countries for price quotation of the Interior Design Group. Worked on SAP for employee time sheets and other confidential information. Maintain & control engineering records and submittals (Contractor's Shop Drawings, IFC & As-Built Drawings) and log at job-site all Contract drawings, specifications and other records according to ISO Standards and project Procedures.
