Operations and Maintenance - Assignments included the following: Oversight of a multi-million dollar Marine Operations and the equipment, (5 floating cranes, 6 front-end loaders, 7 D5 dozers, 7 tugboats, 4 crew/workboats, 19 barges and 31 mooring systems)personnel (260 union workers and 26 supervisors) used in loading of approximately 22 to 26 million metric tons of coal off shore. I was responsible for the planning, scheduling, and organizing resources to load approximately 25 ships per month and for ensuring environmental compliance and safety measures were being followed. Responsible for working with customers, stevedores, ship's agents, classification societies, vessel masters and owners. I am also responsible for all diving operations around the port. I implemented and managed a Security program for the Port and Vessel security.
