Graduated from Petroleum University in 1988 with petroleum drilling bachelorfs degree in China, got masterfs degree in 1990 from the same university with the major as petroleum engineering. Worked as field supervisor in Jiansu Oil Filed, Leading and participated most of the companyfs foreign related project. Worked in Sunwing Energy / Pan-China (an Canadian oil company) as drilling supervisor for two years, partially wrote the drilling contract and fully participated the contract negotiation with drilling companies. As deputy Manager of China Jiangsu Drilling Company, in charge of foreign market development and oversea project management, managing and dealing with all kinds of overseas drilling activities, solve the daily drilling problems. 1999-2004 Jiangsu Oil Exploration Corporation (JOECO), Deputy Manager of China Jiangsu Drilling Company, Manager of JOECO Qatar Drilling Project
In charge of foreign market development and oversea project management. Worked as JOECOfs oversea project manager in Qatar, Managed all issues related to the project include general management, equipment import and output, dealing with all kinds of drilling activities, solve the daily drilling problems.
1997- 1999 (2 years) Sunwing Energy Ltd. / Pan-China Resource Ltd. (an Canadian oil company) Senior Drilling Engineer
Work for Sunwingfs Zhaozhou drilling project: Joint whole drilling contract negotiation; Write and negotiate some drilling related service contract. Joint the equipment modification activity for the drilling project; supervised the land survey activity. As senior drilling engineer drilled the total 5 wells (worked on location); as the person in charge looked after Sunwing well production activities.
Prepare the bid document and evaluate the replays for Pan-China (an Canadian oil company) Kongnan drilling project. Joint whole drilling contract schedules negotiation of the same project. Write/negotiate the survey contract and supervised actual survey activity.
1995-1997 Jiangsu Oil exploration Corporation iJOECOj, Engineer at Engineering Research Institute
Write drilling program and other drilling related research work. Planner and supervisor of JOECOfs horizontal wells.
1994-1995 JOECO, Engineer for EDC Nan Chang Drilling Project
Worked as drilling engineer for EDC (Energy Development Corporation, USA) Nan Chang drilling project. That was a turnkey base drilling contract, the drilling operation took almost five (5) months to drill to TD.
1994 JOECO, Drilling Supervisor for Turn-Key Base Drilling
As a drilling supervisor, drilled 41 wells in one oilfield in Jiangsu. The drilling operation was so successes that JOECO set that as a model drilling project.
1993-1994 JOECO, Drilling Engineer at Drilling Technical Service Center
Deal with all the difficult issues of total 16 rigsf drilling operation. Paid attention to the use of computer software about drilling. The software I composed for anti-collision drilling now can be found almost all the oilfield in China.
