Key Functions
A. PROJECT AND ENGINEERING DOCUMENT CONTROL
Responsible for record control and handling electronic files to register documents using company's electronic Document Management System.
Assign document numbers and enters related pertinent information into the electronic document management system.
Perform data entry to maintain logs and track documentation for queries.
Maintain filing system and record copies of project documents according to company's procedures.
Coordinate with a variety of project personnel providing support/responding to questions.
Operate standard office equipment, including automation tools to produce reports using MS Word and Excel.
Arrange documentation packages such as isometric/P&ID drawings, construction procedures, specifications and other important documents.
B. QA/QC DOCUMENT CONTROL
Maintaining filing system for drawings (plot plan, isometric, P&ID), construction procedures, specifications according to company's procedure.
In charge and responsible for record and control of traceability records.
Checking and updating daily Isometric drawing revisions on the traceability records.
Coordinate with QAQC, Construction, Engineering departments and JV regarding problems for traceability documentation.
C. PROJECT CONTROL
Attending and jotting down notes of weekly construction meetings along with the Department Managers and Client's representatives.
Preparing and typing of minutes of meeting with the guidance of the Project Control Manager and submitted to client for confirmation.
Worked for PETRONET LNG LIMITED, (Govt of India) Dahej Gujarat (As a Senior Document Controller) Performs all documentation functions on a project, including implementing and expediting office check procedures for supplier approval drawings, technical data, and certified supplier documents. Implements and maintains project Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). May train and supervise lower level Document controllers. Having very good experience of documentation. ( From 2001 Feb to Oct 2007)
Key Functions
Implements and executes quality assurance and documentation.
Assigned to handle and set-up its over-all computerized documentation system which includes incoming and outgoing correspondence registers, job and bid status reports, project numbering system, computerized archiving system and project status reports using MS Office Package.
Arrange scanning of final documental to be handed over to the client such as 'As-built' drawings, specification, maintenance manual and other related project documentation. Ensure proper receipt, registration, distribution and filing of engineering and vendor documentation in accordance with project document control procedure.
Monitor and update the database of archived documents.
Produce list of expired documents that are recommended for destruction and submit to the concerned department for action. Arrange for the destruction of duplicate and expired documents.
Arrange, sort, stamp, copy, and distribute documentation packages such as isometric/PID drawings, construction procedures, specifications and other important documents.
Operate standard office equipment, including automation tools to produce reports using MS Word and Excel.
Co-ordinate and Manage all documentation deliverables.
Compliance with the company's QSHE policy and guidelines for all drawing office activities.
Worked for ANS Constructions as a Document Controller. (Handling all the Civil and Mechanical Document). From 2000June to 2001January. Communicate with Project Management & Team, Client and Sub-Contractors effectively and resolve problems & issue's relating to documentation.
Worked for THE ASSOCIATES (A FINANCE COMPANY & A SISTER CONCERN OF CITIBANK) as a senior team leader in customer care and Personal Assistant to Director as an administrative officer and Document clerk. From 2000March to 2000July Perform data entry to maintain logs and track documentation for queries and performing all the drafting for the Director and official letters.
Worked for Advest India Pvt Ltd (for ABN-AMRO BANK) as a CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE dealing with Administration section and controlling of documents.From 1999Oct to 2000 Feb
